To sum up the last four days...
Day 1: Sprinkler valve broke, had to shut off the water.
Day 2: Water wouldn't turn back on.
Plumber showed up (under warranty) to fix the water, but tried to scam us into paying more, then left.
Day 3: New Plumber shows up and we finally have water (Hallelujah!) Then, another sprinkler valve broke.
Day 4: Plumber returns to fix the sprinkler. Another plumber comes to fix the sink (the original problem)
I think "replacing the pipes" has just been moved much higher in priority in the repairs we need to have done. That, and I've learned that PVC sprinkler systems are absolute $%^*!
