I've never seen painter's tape used as a caulk template. I'll have to remember that one.
Is there different tape? My dad was the one who suggested taping it (but that silly painter's tape is really expensive)
Well painter's tape is blue and doesn't peel off paint and comes off in one piece. You could use any tape. But I've never seen tape used when caulking. Did it help?
